Inexpensive tires?

Anyone know of a local source for some 275/70R17 tires or something cheap that will fit my 4x4? They are for my Dodge Ram that I plan on selling in a couple months. I don't want to drop $200 a tire if I'm not going to be the one using them.

Hell, I could even go for some cheap 33's. Pretty much any 17 inch offroad tires that will fit will work. Walmart has 265/70's for $95, but I don't really want smaller tires.

new I'd say like dunlop mud rovers or pepboys dakota mt's . . . . . think each run about 100 bucks a tire or so . . not sure what sizes on a 17 though

Thanks for the tips. I'll call Pepboys today and see what I can find out.

I found a used set of 33x12.5's, but I'm not sure if that's too wide for my stock 17" rims. I also found a used set of 35's, but those might rub also.

12.5's will be fine on stock rims, your stockers wil be atleast a 7 inch wide rim maybe even wider being that its a full size truck....

Shop around for the Sport Kings or Mud Kings. It's a private label tire manufactured by bfg and can usually be picked up very cheap. They are also a very good tires.
