Does anyone know where there is an Emissions station for AWD vehicles in the NOVA area. i want to avoid the car dealerships.


if the car is OBDII does it even need the AWD dyno.

they don't put ob2 cars on teh rollers. just plug into diagnostic port.

Should be an idle sniffer test also. it wont be a loaded IM240 test that all other cars are taking, but it is enough to give a baseline.

and if it hasnt completed its monitors, it wont pass. ie, if you are getting a CEL, it wont pass if you disconnect the battery or clear the codes and then go in.

 

DEALERSHIPS WILL BE THE SAME PRICE AS THE GAS STATIONS. ALSO...IF FOR WHATEVER REASON YOUR CAR WON'T PASS THEY'D BE THE MOST QUALIFIED TO PROPERLY MAKE A DIAGNOSIS

But since your car is OBD-II you dont have to put it up on a roller/dyno.
