Default door lock problem

i have an 87 GMC jimmy with electric locks and electric windows. when i bought the truck the guy said he disconected the electric door lock because it was going bad and sometimes wouldnt lock or unlock. so he disconnected it. now its stuck closed and locked and i cant get out the drivers door. any ideas on how to fix it even if it only stays unlocked.

pull the door panel off, and unhook the solenoid from the actuator rod.

you should be able to unlock it with the key to open the door, then pop the panel, drill the rivets, and unhook it.
