I'm looking to buy a new bike because I just sold mine. I have found a 2005 kawasaki 636 and a 2006 suzuki gsxr600. What all can you guys tell me aout these bikes? Which one is better and why? Thanks a lot for your help.

I was undecided between the GSX-R600 and the ZX6R when I bought my current bike. The performance on all modern sport bikes is nearly identical. I personally like the ergonomics of the GSX-R600 better and that's why I ended up with it. It fit me better.
Looking to buy one? Check my sig.

What kind of money are you looking to spend? How much riding experience do you have? Just wondering. You might want to get an older sportbike, thrash it, and then get a new one when you feel more comfortable (if you're not already there).![Happy](images/smilies/smile.gif)

like corey said the performance of the modern sport bike is about the same in all mfgs it all comes to personal preference I like the 06 gsxr I have one..but it is for sale ..the said problems are people not letting the bike run a full startup cycle before they start it and the set but it was not really a problem the fi light just comes on ...but sit on them both and see what you like

I have been riding for about about a year. I recently sold my 05 sv650s in search of something a little better. I have heard they are all pretty much equal as far as performance, so pretty much is one more reliable than the other or are they both good bikes.
Thanks for everyones input already.
I already found a 05 636 and a 06 gsxr600 so now I just have to decide which one I want to get.
