boost spikes
Ok i have an external wastegate with a 9psi spring and i am spiking at about 10 -11 psi. What factors cause boost spikes?

How do you have the vacuum line connected on the wastegate?

It is just a vacume line to the turbo.

how many ports do you have on your WG?
how many of said ports are hooked up?
fyi: get your vac/pressure signal from the IM for better/more accurate boost control

Could be that the turbo is too small for the engine, wastegate is only going to do so much. My damn car spikes at 22#s.

Well to tell you the truth i wouldnt be positive on what shitty placement would be but my manifold is a log style Drag. The wastegate is placed on the far right runner.

Small turbo, not enough exhaust, bad WG signal, bad WG spring, bad boost controller.
Lots of things can cause a spike.
