they're my buddies, he would rather have a set of type-r since these were too aggressive and dropped a valve in his ls/vtec

actually he had crower dual valve springs retainers and black knight valves and valve seals... the problem was the actual valve timing which was incredibly off which is where he was driving the car when it threw a valve...

so no, he wasn't using "stock" valve train...

anyway i think he's willing to part with them for $200-250... i'll update later this afternoon when we're all off work

 

thats odd im running the same cams with crower valves springs and retainers and crower valves and i have never had a problem. that sux for you friend. i love these cams, they make such good power. good luck with the sale.
