ok i jus got a 91 civic DX i went to start it and it cranks over but wont start checked to see if gettin any fire, nothin so i had a new distributor put that on, and still no fire then my friend told me to change the main relay, did that still nothing, then pulled my friends ECU out of his car and that did not work,

so im gettin pissed about it,

someone let me know somthing

plug wires?haha
is it still stock harness or converted to mpfi?
and is your main fuel relay good,im not positive but if its not sending fuel it wont give spark?

make sure the timing belt is good...same thing happened to a friend like a month ago did all the same stuff........

i believe that car has two regular fuses that could do that.

u check the fuse for the ecu in the engine bay?and when u turn the key to the second click before starting do u hear the fuel pump humm for a sec and ur check engine light come on and go off simultaneously

Yeah i agree with him, make sure u hear the click when u turn the key. If u dont hear a click , Check fuel pump. Since it has been sitting since 02 it might need plugs, fuel pump, lil shit like that.

ok dont ask me wtf it was but i kept turning it on and off and somthing clicked the the lil red light came on the ecu and then it started, but now the fuel pump is not workin so im goin to change out the gas tank and pump, dose have old gas in it, well see what happins after that
