99 Si Idle Air Control Problem
So check engine light came on and I took it to Advance to run a test and it come back as an IAC malfunction. I took it off, cleaned it with break cleaner let it dry completely. Put it back on and everything was gravy for a bit then the check engine light came back on. So I got a used one, put it on, (cleaned it before hand) and the check engine light is back on. The car has a high idle (1100-1500 range) and runs like shit after about 10 mins of driving.
Am I missing something?

Possible ECU or wiring problem, or connector corrosion. Borrow an ECU and see what happens, inspect the connector, and do a continuity check from the ECU to the sensor. If the ECU has been taken out of the car ever, look to see that the IACV contact pin didn't get misaligned and shoved out of the connector housing.
