through rpm's under load mainly. a spun rod bearing is a pretty unique sound, kinda like a baseball card in a bicycle wheel. anyone who's dealt with one before would agree it sounds like a rod bearing. it could run for quite some time on it, if it's not abused and taken csre of. i'm driving it all day today, justs needs that speedo fixed and she'll be running like a champ.
no, the car's in too good a condition to part out. all it really needs is a speedo, i've been driving it without any other issues. the rod bearing can wait a while.
