got a ? about the heads up display ok the winshield is cracked and i have to change the window will this affect the heads up display since the patch hooks to the window from the display or am i wrong was told it hooks up to the window plus the display isnt currently working what would i need to fix the display just curious dont know much about the heads up display please help me thanx brian

 

the HUD just projects the speedo onto the windshield, so it still works w/out the patch but is blurry. So just use a small piece of tint to replace the old patch

well i didnt know i'm not too familiar with 240sx with the heads up just looking for some help thats all

 

yeah just do wut s13dori said cuz u dont want to pay 1000 dolllars for a windsheild with the hud patch in it already. if u need a windsheild let me know i do autoglass.

 

he's right use the tint... get the mirrored kind for best results... most tint shops will give you the hook up on a tiny scrap piece
