Default crappy SRR camgears

Just a tip if you are ever installing SRR cam gears on your car, the timing marks on the cam gears are off by half a tooth. You will need to line up the stock cam gears with the SRR cam gears and make your own marks on the SRR gears, I beat my head on this for hours before I realized it. Hope this helps

Sounds like a quality part, are you sure you got the right ones for your car?

SRR = Super Road Racing = Bleh imo

STR is now BDL industries (Pacific Broach and Engineering Associates) = Good

This is for both of you then.

I bought them used from a friend. He has over tightened them and bent the washers. I won't be using these cam gears to advance/retard the cams any(unless my tuner wants to) (I'll be using ITR cams on a 81.5mm lsvtec)

Where should I go to buy new washers and maybe new screws?

Yes they were the cam gears for my car, I have talked to other people that tell me they had the same problem. I will try to post up some pics later

here is a pic, you can see the stock mark is on the tooth, and the SRR is between the teeth, then the mark I made on the SRR on the tooth.
