1990 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo
Name: Rich
phone: 757-839-4389
miles: 218k on body, 100k on motor (never modded)
price: $9,500 obo
I am selling my 1990 300ZX Twin Turbo. I had originally started this car as a 500rwhp project. but my new baby and new job have taken up too much of my time and I have not been able to put what I want into the car. So I have just purchased a 1992 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo that is in excellent condition. So... I am now selling this one. Here is the run down on the car.
I purchased the car about a year ago maybe a little more. The car has 218,000 miles on it. I then drove the car for about 3 weeks and took it to somebody to work on it. They did a tune for me and when they brought the car back from the test drive.. it had a rod knock. So I had to park the car. I purchased a wrecked 300ZX Twin Turbo that had only 100,000 miles. I pulled the motor and replaced the front and rear engine seal and timing belt. Cleaned it up just a little and was going to upgrade the turbo's, injectors, and a couple other small things and shoot for the 500hp number. Since I have purchased this 1992 Z... I have paid to have the motor put in. Now... this is the stock motor. No upgrades on it. The wrecked Z had no upgrades on it. So this is a strong motor. I have replaced the EFI harness with a new one. $400 harness. If you know Z then you know they have brittle wiring harnesses. So now it has a new harness on it with 0 miles. The car is only running on 4 cylinders right now because there are 2 dead injectors that I am going to be replacing. It currently has a body kit on it.. but I am removing this on and putting another one on. The front is the same but the sides and rear are different. With the car will be going... HKS Hyper Catback exhaust (best performance on the market), gutted cats, cone intake, and an ECU upgrade. All you would need is a boost controller set at about 12-14 psi to run about 320hp - 350hp (at the wheels on average). That depends on the tune and timing. Everything in this car works. The all wheel steering... adjustable suspension... I will include a set of 18" rims... need tires. They are not the best set but they look aiight.
