ok so this past weekend some friends of mine my parents and i got into a debate about which car would out perform the other car in a 1/4 mile.
My mom has always wanted a 1968 69-70 camaro ss. Well we happen to stumble across a 1970 ss 4 sale on our way to nc. my mom was sayin how nice they were and how fast they are with a 350 in them this one was bored out to a 383 but the debate started when i said i would much rather have a supra instead. we started arguing which car was better in the 1/4 mile and i said the supra would take it. 2 friends agreed while my other friend said no way along with my parents
my ?? is stock tt supra vs stock 350 4 speed 1970 camaro ss which would win in the 1/4 mile

 

Why don't you look the times up on wikipedia or something? And really there are a lot of factors dealing with 1/4 mile times

there is still alot of factors even if they are both stock the ss camaro in 70 came with a 396 i believe but because of the gearing topped out in the high 120s i think that the camaro would own a supra in the 1/8th but in the quarter i would give it to the supra

 

13.1 is a rare number to hit in a stock TT. you will most likely see 13.5-13.9 consistently in a bone stock TT.

 

The ZL-1 isn't your normal camaro... you can't compare that.
