Radar detectors
Okay, I know no one here uses a radar detector here in the wonderful old dominion,(wink, wink) but what type do y'all prefer when travelling out of state? I have an old Valentine 1 and am considering getting a new one for visiting the kid in Charlotte at school. Oh, and I still have an old bread box size Escort detector! Think a museum somewhere may want it?

You can get a remote display for the V1 and hide the detector on the pass. sun visor..

I use the Bel RX65Pro (when out of state of course).. Thing is a champ, has saved my ass SO many times.. The range on it is awesome..
