Everything I've read says not to do it, but everyone I've talked to that has done it says it's not an different. I need a new tire badly and a buddy has a 190 series with great tread left sitting around his house. Would it be a bad idea to rock with this until I can afford new rubber? Looking for opinions/experiences.

 

you would probably pinch it a little but I think it is doable.

 

You can get a set of brand new tires for <$250, or get a set that someone used on the track for free.

 

there are 2 sizes for our bike but i would keep the stock size if you are concerned about safety

 

Hey man go to Sunrise, or any other place that does tire changes and tell them you need stunt tires, they should hook you up for free to dirt fucking cheap. They are mostly old track tires, the edge tread is pretty shot but the center tread is just fine.
