Under the throttle body! There is a coolant hose running to it.

I'm pretty sure its just a sensor. The ecu then adjusts the timing and fuel. Thats why when you have a messed up IAC, the engine surges.

well my car idles at like 200 - 300 rpms. But its probably beacuse im running my stock single cam ecu on my ls motor =(, with out a conversion harness.

99 honda civic - 95 Ls

hopefully when i get the harness adn ecu it shoudl run right.......hopefully.

the valve you are talking about that is located under the throttle body is called the fast idle valve(cold start idle)

the IAC is on the back on the intake manifold with two collant lines running from it and an electrical plug!

well i knew about the iac, but i wasnt sure if there is an actual way to adjust my idle.

There is an idle screw on the throttle body at the top center of it. You can adjust it with a flathead. Give that a try. Plus get the right ecu.
