Re: nhra
We will be going on Sunday to watch them. We had a blast last year and this year at a previous Powerade event.
This was a bad one

Johns car splitting in half colliding with Kenny Bernstein. You can hear the distinctive pop of the tire. That is 2 cars that blew a tire for them this year. The first killed his teamate Eric Medlin

NHRA Powerade series is hands down the greatest motorsport for spectators. Top Fuel Drag and F/C is something one has to see in person to believe. And before anyone starts jumping on me for saying this, I've been to every USGP they've had at Indy, Indy 500s both before and after the CART/IRL split, countless NASCAR Cup races all over the US, AMA roadraces, AMA flat track races in the Midwest, Outlaw, USAC, and a long list of different forms of boat racing.
Adding to the John Force note; Ashley Force won't be racing either. The mods to her car that her dad mandated will not be done in time for this event.
