Default ka24det + bikirom help

setup:
90' 240sx
95 ka24de converted to obd1
sr20det turbo setup - 370cc/t25 etc w/sidemount

so after months of being busy and small problems ive come to the point of being ready to tune it. however when i try to do anything with the bikirom setup it just sets there and does absolutely nothing. im currently using v3.2.2 bikisoft and im unsure if it has successfully updated the firmware. ive read every post on bikirom.com and i cant post there since i never got an email back (its been 2 yrs =P). ive followed the connection problems guide with no success. the only data ive managed to get from the ecu is that it is a bikirom according to the usb devices and that the APL l1 i think it was is 3.4223E + 432kpsi or something, which is from streamed data.

when i try to update the firmware it just sits there and i never ever get any kind of response. ive checked all solder points at least 5 times before putting the ecu back together however the only piece i had left over was a ribbon which was stated to be for the 95 s14 ecu.

any suggestions before i throw bikirom in the garbage and just start over using a legit brand tuning setup.

update: when i set the datalog to 0 rpm it will read adc l1,adc l2, and adc l3 voltages and i have no idea what that means lol
