Default Any geeksquad people in the area...

that are looking for a side job? My external hard drive tipped over the other day and doesn't register with my computer anymore. When I turn it on it makes a buzzing noise for a while then stops. So if you or know someone who has experience with repairing/retrieving stuff from hard drives PLEASE let me know, thanks

I need the same service as well. But from what I hear it could be costly to retrieve data from a damaged harddrive

It is expensive if it is more than just hooking it up in another external enclosure. I know there are a couple people on here that do data recovery. Try searching because I can't remember their user names.

Data recovery can be expensive. When did you buy the HDD? Possibly still under warranty? Tell them it fucked up.

Worst comes to worst you have to download your porn stash all over again.

accidents arent covered under their warranty....teh pronz will come and go, but its my pictures im worried about.

my friend has been in geek squad for 5 years and is also working for BAE systems which is a contracting company i believe.ill ask for you
