Banquet location suggestions
I'm looking for a place to hold a client appreciation banquet for about 50 - 60 clients. Looking to keep it in about the $30 per person range. Any suggestions on where around town might be a good place to hold it?

I've helped organize banquets at Virginia Crossings Resort (www.virginiacrossingsresort.com) and Maggiano's (www.maggianos.com). They were both great but their prices might be a little steep... :\

Are you looking for some place that handles everything? We use the Ruritan building on Bailey Bridge for my son's football team's banquets and then pay to have it catered...usually ends up being about $22/head.
You can also check on the BBQ place at the Chesterfield Airport (can't remember the name)...they were pretty good last time I was there.

Maggiano's and Kings Corner were two of the ones we are considering. We'd definitely like to hold it somewhere that handles everything. Does Maggiano's have a private room? Do you remember what the approximate cost per person was?

LoL Nic... Maggiano's does have private rooms. I don't know how many they have.
In fact I still have the banquet info in an email, if you give me your email address I'll send it to you... They have all of the prices, package options, etc.

Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden has shitloads of banquet rooms, not sure on price. Also Romas Italian Resteraunt has banquet rooms, and Carini's as well.

Re: Banquet location suggestions
Went to Maggiano's last night for another banquet I planned for my company and it was on point! The food was amazing of course, our server/bartender was great. The only thing I didn't like was that our room was ready RIGHT at 5pm. I was hoping to be able to go in there like 15-20 minutes ahead of time to make sure everything was straight and put out gift cards and such, but I wasn't able to. Oh well, it was awesome overall!
