Default Mini-Me 1/8th mile results!!!(Slicks)

Had alot of fun last night at northeast dragstrip. I made about 10 or 12 runs for 20.00!

This was my first time on true drag slicks, I ran between 10 and 9 pounds throughout the night. I started off launching at 5000 and bogged to 3000. Next time I launched at 6000 and bogged to 4000. I got my best 60 foot launching off my high chip at 7000rpms!!!!! Everyone that has never done this imagine launching your car at 7000rpms and not spinning!!(Boner status!)

The car ran perfect until the tranny started going on me, 2nd and 3rd are pretty much gone as far as racing. It will be rebuilt soon.

Numbers:

Best 60 foot 1.966
Best 1/8th mile 9.244 at 73.749mph (with a 2.014 60 foot)

I never got a good pass with any of my 1.96 60 foot runs.(tranny)

I said it was roughly a 13.8, I was just trying to get the number off the top of my head. How'd you get 14.5?

Easy enough, I'll have to find that and bookmark it.

I got that info off my quarter jr program.(14.5)
I will be really happy with a 14.5 !!

The next thing im gonna do is rebuild the tranny, put a 2 step rev limiter and shift light on the car. Then im gonna get my front end allignment straight it pulls to the right hard(Lower control arm??)

Hopefully fine tuning these areas will bring mid 14 second passes.
Eventually I will find the right cam for the head.
The next power adder will be a skunk2 manifold with a bigger throttle body!!
With that and the cam and maybe a larger header I will run 13s!!Like I said I would!

You should have seen the look on the DOHC guys at the track runnin 10.30s
