What do you guys think? I'm thinking about checking it out this weekend. But I'm a little worried that it has a salvage title on it. And it also has 80k+ miles. What you purchase a car with salvage history and that many miles?

 

you can get the titled changed to repaired, you may want to ask the guy how come he hasnt already because i think it affects insurance among other things. but just fyi no i wouldnt buy that, id buy a newer one from checkered flag BMW with my employee discount son!

Get the VIN from the guy and get the carfax report. Find out why it has a salvage title.

 

Yeah I'm def gonna do that. The biggest thing is the mileage. I dunno if I want an 03 with that many miles.

The fact that he doesn't even have an asking price doesn't say much either. I think you will find a better deal if you keep searching.

 

He has an asking price. 17,900. But I'll indeed keep looking.

 

For 18 grand, you can find something without a salvage title.
