This past summer, I purchased a WS6 and I love this car to death. However, I have been presented with a pretty good deal to trade for an '06 GTO. Now, here are some pros and cons of both cars:

WS6 pros:
-fun to drive
-looks like a true muscle car
-more aftermarket support

cons:
-i feel claustrophobic sitting in it, not much room to move around
-pretty uncomfortable for someone tall such as me
-limited field of vision

GTO pros:
-excellent drivetrain, LS2 > LS1
-very roomy and comfortable interior

cons:
-looks extremely blah, like a grand prix on steriods
-independent rear suspension sucks ass

 

are you all about drag? why so negative on independent rear suspension? as far as i can see biggest down side to muscle cars is they cant handle worth a shit thanks to solid axle

 

Id keep the ws6 just because of the look. it scares me looking at one in my rear view mirror unlike a gto.

 

thats a hard one.. id prob stick with the WS6

 

You drive a Probe therefore pretty much a kid on a scooter scares you.

Get the fucking GTO

 

if i ever sold my car i would seriously consider a GTO. The exterior is kinda...blah... but i still like it. Only thing i really dont like is only being able to fit a 9.5'' wheel out back. Other than that, i love the seats, interior, room to work on the motor (big improvement over the fbody)

 

My room-mate has a GTO with cam, headers, and a couple of other goodies. Having driven the WS6 and only ridden in the GTO, I like the goat a lot more.

GTOs look sooo much nicer than WS6s IMO. I hate that body style.

LS2 + IRS = better. Get some nice dampers and you'll have a much better handing car than the WS6. Welcome to modern suspension.

 

GTO+Blower+solid axle= Cool. just a thought.
