tonight on my way to my softball game my car suddenly turned off no previous warning signs of anything wrong just turned off thought it might be bc i was low on gas so pushed the clutch tried re firing but nothing happened. the car kept coasting and finally came to a stop on the off ramp once again tried re firing but noticed it wasn't sounding right when it was trying to start like the motor was locked. so i pop the hood and start looking around when i notice the problem timing belt broke in half it was a new timing belt 3 weeks old thats how klong the motor has been in so i have no idea why it broke.
what im wondering is what are my chances that the heads not fucked and the blocks not fucked up
how much trouble is it replacing valves and shit if i do have to

 

sorry to hear that man How fast were you going when it stopped? What gear were you in?

 

I think its pretty much a hit or miss, you just pull the head with your fingers crossed.

 

i was doin 75 and it coasted once i went up the off ramp it slowed pretty fast when it turned off i put it in neutral trying to get it restarted with the clutch pressed in i never put it back in gear

if its that gst... then the chances are that the motor is done u said u tried cranking it and it sounds locked then u dropped not just one but SOME valves sorry to hear that

i sure as hell hope not but doesnt matter soon as i fix it im tradin it in for a wrx. that way i have a warranty something nice and decently quick and dont have to mess with it to make it go fast
