Hey guys,
I was messing around with my video editing software this morning, and wound up with a video that still needs a little work, but is worth watching. It is the in-car video from my land speed racing down in Maxton, NC this past weekend. I was shooting for some higher speeds, but didn't have enough pressure on the NOS bottle by the time I sprayed in 3rd, 4th, and 5th with a 300 shot, and will probably put two bottles in there for some of the spring runs.
In this run I did 191mph, and in the spring should be able to do 215-217 or so... unless I make a few changes and then it's possible that I might actually break 220mph in the mile. Click on the link below, if it starts sputtering make sure to hit pause and give it a minute to catch up on the downloads, and then you should be able to run it straight through...

Yeah, it wasn't fogging up this time. I was trying to lower it a few times and warm it up with my before I launched, just so that it wouldn't. It was also a little cooler out this event...

 

Good job Sonny......I sure want to run my Z06 there but don't wanna put a cage in it.

Glad you're doing OK, haven't seen you in forever (<-- Joe from autocross/ODU years ago) thing still sounds beast as hell! We'll have to switch rides at the auto x here shortly

 

I've always been a fan of this kind of sport, how does one get into this kind of thing? Any websites?

sonny's car was actually in Hot Rod magazine back in July I think. he was a part of a centerfold with a couple other cars.

ill be sure to watch it when I get home.
