engine question
ok i have a question i been trying to look it up but can't find alot about it.
is a stock gsr faster than doing a b16 with a gsr head? i thought about pulling my gsr and doing it or just pulling the head off my car and putting a spoon head gasket on that is suppose to help increase the compression alittle...

why would you want to decrease displacement and torque by replacing your 1.8 with a 1.6, mod your gsr, do the headgasket if your wanting to raise compression a bit, granted youll only get like .2 raise in ratio and you really wont gain any power from it. if you work the gsr head, mill it,get a better intake manifold and some bigger cams and tune it, your gsr will be great. hell you could always swap the pistons out when you do the headgasket and put some high compression jammies in there.
high compression pistons, thin headgasket, mild port and polish, cams and intake manifold, lightweight flywheel and some tuning- FUN ASS MOTOR.
