how to determine if crank has been balanced
I have a crank that i bought from a friend,he said it was balanced.Any info on what to look for to see if its realy been balanced.

Look for holes and dimples that don't look stock.

A -properly- balanced crankshaft should have the pulley and flywheel attached, so unless you have those that were used when the crankshaft was balanced, concerning yourself as to whether or not its balanced is moot. Unless of course you're just checking to see if you might have been screwed or if your friend was mistaken.
