i was on braddock rd going east and i got a ticket for goin 64 in 40. the cop said he gave me a regular speeding ticket since its my first ticket ever. i have court on jan 7th. he also said that the ticket is pre-payable. but i looked on the ticket again but my copy doesnt have my signature on it. i think wen i signed his copy he already ripped out my copy. so what do you guys think i should do? prepay it or go to court and fight for it?

you really cant fight it unless you can prove your speedometer was WAYYYY off or prove the speed limit was 65mph otherwise its still a speeding ticket however you look at it . In most cases I would say go to court and hope the cop doesnt show up, but then you incur court cost also. I would just prepay it being its your first ticket and then spend 1 day (8 hours or so) and take a driver improvement class to get those points back on your license.

Does it say 64 in a 40 on the ticket? If so, go to court. If not, just pay it.

 

if it says wreckless on ticket you cant pre-pay... i know i know kid said cop gave him a normal ticket. and to justmeandmyspec. you gotta pay court fee's regardless. theres a 10 dollar processing andd 51 dollar court fee. even if you pre-pay.

Never speed on Braddock Dee dee dee there always cops everywhere on that road. And you have to pay court fees even if you don't go.
