does anybody know of a paint booth or garage to rent for a day or 2, im trying to paint my car but i dont really know of any places besides votec and i think they stopped renting those out to the public, my car looks like butcheeks so im trying to get it painted and looking desent but im not the one to pay 1200 dollars to someone to paint my car, so i need a do it yourself place, any help would be appreciated........
I've offered to a few people to use the paint booth at my work. Some of the mechs there will paint the car and the Coast Guard will pick up the tab and call it "training" Thats what I'm gonna do to the CRX and my truck if I can ever pick it up. I know given the current situation you probably won't be interested but the offer stands. If you are interested let me know and I'll see if I can get things lined up at work.
my garage is set up like a paint booth right now to paint my car. I have a 2 car garage, all we did was take plastic and wall off on side of the garage, and then raise the garage door acouple feet and covered the opening with plastic exept for a section where we put a fan to help get the fumes out.
dam in interested in painting my car...Vtecnology..do they use real paint and clear coat?? cause we have a paint shop but they use CARC paint and only paint OD green..lol.. i just want to repaint my baby black witha clear coat.
They can use whatever paint you want them to. I'm using Military paint but it's the Coast Guard so we have all sorts of "pretty" colors. Like I said, I woiuldn't really recommend it for a new car or anything but to make an older "beater" look good again, why not. The paint I'm gonna use on the truck you could wash with a brillo pad. It's good stuff.
