Well...to my surprise... car was sold. Sorry..but thanks for all the offers guys. Some dude wants to grab the car for 3000...which is a lot more than I ever expected to get from it.

Btw, if its no big deal...you can come over whenever during the day. Just keep in mind, my parents are gone from work from 6am til 5pm everyday. You can came anytime as long as the job is done by 9ish (thats when they go to bed.) Upon completetion, my father would double check to make sure all the parts are there and upon this verification, the money would be handed over. If possible, a monday or tuesday would be great for as my mother has mondays off and my father tuesdays. That way, if anything is needed like a beverage, bathroom or anything, someone would be home to assist you. Bring a friend if u like!

i talked to him and theres no game. not shady at all. why would someone be shady about asking for your help? if you think he might try to get you put in jail by framing you bring the print out of the PMs, phone records, and/or thread that he made. but i doubt he'll do all of that.

basically..we were going to trash the car...but have kept it sitting in my garage since I been out here. Its 99 Coupe. Now...when I got out here, I wasnt planning to get another civic...something a little better, but financially and gas-wise, civic was the best choice to go. Thing is, this civic is at 106k miles and the shocks could be replaced as well as the clutch and etc. Just needs some love to get it back into perfect running order. Rather than spend money on buncha parts...i have a bunch sitting at home. Why not use those?

Thing is, schedule too hectic to fly home now with school/finals and work full-time. And if i do come home, itll only be for a weekend during the holidays. I want to get this done ASAP so when I get home, things are all set and good to go. That way, I can figure out how to stuff that shit into suitcases and whatnot and fly it over here and cut back on shipping...lol. I have a foot locker that some of this shit could fit in...=P

If it sounds shady...thats understandable. But, if you are truly interested, talk to me and you will see its not shady. If we do set up an arrangement, I would be more than happy to meet any of your requests to help alleviate any doubts. Ill even have a downpayment ready for you upon starting it if it makes you feel better.

thanks for the responses guys. Give me a couple days to work things out and figure out stuff at home. Being 3000 miles away makes things a little bit difficult with the time difference and schedule between myself and my parents.
