Paint the WRX?

Went to an I-club meet last week and realized how many WRB's there are, and it made me want to paint my car. I think WishIhadaSilvia tried it and it turned out pretty good, and I read the thread on here, but how many others here actually tried the "roller" paint job?
PLEASE do not ruin a perfectly good factory paintjob with a nasty-ass roller job just to be "unique".
If you're not going to go out and do a proper professional color change (i.e. car totally stripped, engine out, interior out, taken to paintshop on flatbed, painted inside/out professionally), then don't do it.
There's enough half-assing in the world as it is, don't add to it. Your WRB car looks great, leave it the way it is.

Are you really being serious? You are going to mess up a perfectly awesome factory paint job for some bullshit? LOL @ ppl think im the one smoking too much, op needs to go to rehab if thats the case.
No, that's why I came here asked if someone had done it. Reason I hadn't yet, b'c I knew it was a good paint job and didn't want to do it if it was gonna be worse. Someone on another forum did a fairly nice job. Just a thought (@ 4am). Thanks for the input everyone.

I personally think thats one of the best colors a wrx can come in, ok yea its getting played out, but its yours, make it unique in your own way. Fuck a roller paint job.
I hear ya. Unique/different is where I was trying to go. Don't get me wrong, I love the color. Seeing all the WRB out here feels like buying new Jordans, wear 'em to school, and everyone else had 'em. Egh (WTF, I'm stopping now). 10am, going to bed. Would like to see the Panoz when it's done
