Default Ingalls torque damper

Hello, I have an Ingalls torque damper, and when it was on my car the plate snapped in half. I still have both sides, and am wondering my options. Can it be welded and still be strong? Or do I need to order a new one? I couldn't find just the plate on Ingalls website but I suppose I could call them.

It's basically that bracket in the picture where it connects my damper to my chasis.

Before you get a new plate, I'd figure out why this one broke. This is just a damper, so it shouldn't have enough load on it to snap a bracket. Do you have a broken or missing engine mount, or are the mounts not the right ones for that engine/car combination?
