F/S-FT: 97 GTI, 5SPD! 48KK!!!

Hello I am selling a 97 GTI with a 2.0 and a 5 spd M/T. The car is a great little car and is fun to drive and is also great on gas like other 2.0s. The car has 48k on the motor and 110kish on the body, the motor was pulled from a donor car along with the console. The lists of modifications below are currently on the car;
Body;
- New paint
The car was recently painted two weeks a code 11 white with a metallic flake in the paint. The paint job is not great nor is it good, I like perfection and it was far from. I am trying to get a hold of the guy that painted it to fix everything, but it seems he has jumped town just my luck.
- Jetta front end conversion
- Badge less grill
- FK smoked turns and fogs
- VR6 Lip
- Smoked rear tails
- Smoked side turns
- Euro rear bumper(Guy before me sold the front one)
- Aftermarket side mirrors, don’t know the make but they are a popular choice
- VR6 Wheels
Drivetrain/Motor;
- Motor 48k miles on it. The engine bay could use a nice detailing it is quite dirty under the hood.
- 5spd tranny shifts really good
- Short shifter
- 5 lug conversion
- Aftermarket header, 2.5in pipe all the way back to a borla exhaust
- New battery
- Water pump – 45k
- New vacuum lines -45k
- Cross drilled rotors
- Ebay coilovers
Interior;
- Black leather, has its typical wear would rate the seats a 7.5/10
- Carpet has a small rub wear on the carpet on driver side, I will be putting in new floor mates so that will cover that
- Brand new flip out cd player, Bluetooth read, ipod plugin, made by dual
- New front speakers
- Cluster was changed out with old donor car and has a white effect to it.
- Inside is almost 100% stock
Extras;
I have some mint BBS RX II’s that will go with the car at $3500, also some FK angel eyes brand new in the box will go with the car also along with a few extra little things like extra head lights etc.
Reason for me selling is the car is that I really want a stock one. I bought this car with all the modifications done to it and I really don’t like the way he went and would rather not keep putting money into something that I will have to convert to stock to fit my needs. The car is great, I have drove it on a 6 hour trip over thanksgiving and it had no problems what so ever, and dam the highway gas mileage is nice on this car . I will trade the car for something stock or lightly modded, I have some money to put on my end if I see the right car but not bunch so I rather just sale out right but will take offers.

The pictures are bad, but it is dark outside and I had to bring it in the garage to get some decent shots of it. I will have some better pictures up in the next few days soon has I get some nice daylight out side.
