Default 1997 Supra Turbo 116k miles

* Name - Ryan
* Location - Fairfax, VA
* Means of Contact - PM's or email odumagoo@yahoo.com
* Description
Up for sale is my 1997 15th Anniversary Turbo Supra 6-speed. It has 116k on the odometer. I researched (read: obsessed) for years to find the perfect one. I finally found her in August 2005 and have been absolutely blown away ever since.

I absolutely love this car. I do not want to sell it. I would take this car to the grave with me if I could. Unfortunately, I am moving to New Zealand with my gf and the car cant fit on the plane.

The car IS a factory turbo. I removed the wing (notice plugs) which I am going to mount back on it, and I removed the turbo emblems, which I have in factory toyota packaging.

I will have much more pics put up in the future, after it is detailed, for now I snapped these at work.

I have tried very hard to keep things as stock/reversible as possible. I have 95% of the original stuff and could put everything back to OEM if needed.

Engine mods:
3inch exhaust
Blitz-Nur spec exhaust.
Dual boost controllers, (peak boost and sequential offset)1.2 bar.
Hybrid Racing Full pipe Intercooler

Suspension mods:
Megan Racing coilovers
TRD strut bar
TRD sway bars
Hawk Pads

Chassis mods:
Black pearl Emblems(had gold, didnt like them)
35% tint
enkei rp01s with falken azenis 255/18 275/18s

Other stuff I'm not remembering...

This car is what I consider perfect. It doesnt have any problems except for the occasional squeek. (targa). Engine pulls very strong on stock twin turbos. The suspension is stiff and very agile. AC blows cold, radio is stock and sounds great. I have original sticker, brochure, records since 1997. The timing belt was replaced by me last year and is just fine. I did however skip replacing the water pump because I just didn't think it needed it.

The car hasnt been dynoed, mostly because I dont really care what it makes as long as it makes me smile. If it becomes something that needs to be known, I will look into it. ROUGHLY similar mods like this on a supra make about 400-420 hp. Add a single turbo kit and it easily goes into the 500-550 range on stock fuel.

Please, serious inquiries only. No trades, no low balling,no joy riding, no parting out unless I have stuff left over. I will post more pic's later and some more information as I go. I know there will probably be some comments about the price, please if you aren't interested, don't ruin it for those that are.

I will also be posting this on craigslist and other sites.

* Price $27,000 obo

Thanks for looking!

Regards,
Ryan

Beautiful car... I remember when you got it... why not ship it over there? A few years from now you'll regret selling it.

Thanks a lot everyone. New Zealand has plenty of supras over there for a bit cheaper to boot. I am looking at GTRs to fill the void.

Usually supras that go for that much are 96-97, fully built, single turbo, 6-700whp. Atleast yours is a 97, clean ass car btw.

There is a high demand for unmolested supras. Either way they fetch a high premium. Fully built single turbo supras can go as high as 100g, so Im not worried.
