GSR Tranny problem
i been driving it my car fine. Then the other night i tore a cv boot on an axle so i replaced it. So i take my car out for a drive it then the next thing i kno i go to take off and nothing. I hadn't even gotten down on it yet at all and i kno my clutch is good cuz i just had the motor built 3500 miles ago and i checked it then. And it was in great shape. So when i looked under the hood i noticed the axle had popped out. So i got it towed home then pulled the axle out checked the teeth and it looked fine so i put it back in and i started the car and put it in gear and nothin. So then i went to check that axle again and it had been pushed out again so i dunno what yall think
also the tranny is hydro if it matters...

This is not a tranny problem. It almost seems like your axle is short which very unlikely. Which side axle was it anyway, driver side or passenger side?
Also man.... your thread is hard to read. Use some punctuation... the whole thing was one sentence?
would that make the car not drive at all? cuz i can just put the car in gear without even pressing the clutch in. i got nothing in first and second but in 3rd thru 5th and reverse it acts like it wants to go
The ring on the end of the axle is most likely the reason your axle is popping out. Pull it out again and compare the axle stub length with the original axle. When you say the car wants to go in the upper gears and reverse, are you meaning it acts like it would normally? Or does the car just slightly pull along as you increase RPMs?
Compare the stub end of the axle (where it goes into the trans). If they are the same, open up on the circlip that is on the end of the stub slightly. Reinstall the axle and drive it.
