I did a auto to manual swap and now my back up lights dont work what could be the issue i just want all possibilites

Hard wire the backup light switch on the trans to the wire that originally came from your neutral safety switch.

The auto shifter assembly that you disconected is were the reverse lights on your auto have the switch. the manual transmission switch is on your transmission. run the wires to the plug that you disconected and you shoul have reverce lights. know i dont remember which wires are the nones, but with a buddy test wire by wire untill the come on. you also need to hot wire the neutral safety switch and the key release from the same plug. and disconect the annoying gear selestor lights from the gauge cluster.
