Gas Charging a Coilover Question
Ok...so I found these valves on my coilovers I bought in Japan (which I now found out are for gas charging). In the process of trying to figure out what they were some gas was released from them. Basically, does anyone know what I would need to do/Where I would need to go to have the other side's pressure measured and then have the one the gas was released from filled up to spec. I know that is a massive run on sentence, but basically I need to know if there is any place in the 757 area that can gas charge coilovers...one that would work on that sort of valve.
They are JIC FLA-2 coilovers by the way, which are gas charged with Nitrogen gas.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Gas Charging a Coilover Question
Any ideas of a good cycle/race shop in the area? I know of a few places, but I'm not sure if they're equipped to deal with gas charging shocks or not.

Re: Gas Charging a Coilover Question
Have you tried to contact JIC USA to find out the fill pressure? Once you know that, the easy part is finding some place to fill them.
What kind of valve is that, is it threaded on the outside or the inside?

Re: Gas Charging a Coilover Question
I've already emailed JIC, just waiting on a reply.
The only reason I posted here is to try and find out if anyone knows of a shop capable of doing this in the area...as Matt is in MD he doesn't know of shops like that down here.

Re: Gas Charging a Coilover Question
Check out Race Prep Motorsports, I know they do alot of actual racing so I would assume either they could or at least point you in the right direction.
