BUMP.... how about a lift then.... you know like they have at the shops...

 

i might be able to hook you up with a hydraulic bike lift. it's in use at the moment, but will probably be for sale soon. it's nothing too fancy, but it's a full sized lift, not the "under the motor" type that won't work on anything but a cruiser.

hell, i have a swingarm stand i'd be willing to part with. it's not a spool stand, it's got the "paddles" that lift the bike from the bottom of the swingarm. lockhart phillips, like this:
