Where to get internals installed at?

I went to a couple local shops and they quoted me $2000+ for redoing the top and bottom end of my motor using parts i already bought. Where do you guys go to get your internal work done?

me and a few freinds built mine in my garage cost 200 and a lot of pepsi/beer
