i have taken all of the bolts and nuts off and the tie rod ends. but i cannot get the steering rack out from under neath the car . do i need the disconnect the crossmember. reminder i am doin this in my driveway in the cold. is there rany other way i can get it out.

sometimes you can remove the inner tierods and it will come out easy
