i currently have a d16y7 engine in my 97 civic dx , (sohc non-vtech) wat should i do to it? its a weak engine but it has sum potental, any suggestions?

 

Build the motor you inted to swap into it, and then boost it. Nuff said

swap it. unless you really know what you are doing and build your own turbo kit...you're going to pay out a lot of money making that motor semi quick....

 

Steps to making your CiVic Ex, Dx, Cx, Hx, Vx fast.

1) *Most Important Step* Blow Up Your Engine. I recommend using the Biggest n2o Shot available. (100,120,150 work well)

2) Gut the Hell out of your car only leaving steering wheel and 2 front seats

3) Buy a DohC motor with/without the VtAc.

4) Turbocharge that DoHc...with any of the plethora bolt-on turbo kits available. (Drag, Revhard, Greddy, Apexi, JG)

5) Only race from a roll.
