I'm selling this car because I purchased it to have as a project car and was planning on putting a turbo on it. I got a large promotion and bought a Z06 instead and now need to get something that does not require as much attention.
Sidenote I did not perform the swap, the previous owner did
Description:
Chassis: Black 97 Cabrio with 177,700 miles, Tan Cloth interior
Engine: OBD1 Passat Engine approx. 90k miles
Good: Motor runs strong and I have not had any mechanical problems with car for the 10 months I have owned it. Nice top and heat works
Not so Good:
Typical MK3 moldings coming loose
Will need new brakes and exhaust asap (have unopened exhaust if purchaser wants to buy)
Passenger wiper does not work
Gauge cluster from the 2.0l and RPM's do not read right.
Gas needle and radio will sometimes not work
One minor rust spot (will provide pictures as soon as I get a chance)
NO AC
Interior 6/10 (needs glove box and driver seat worn)
Exterior 7/10 (minor scratches on hood and minor rust spot)
Price: $4,000 OBO
Will try to get pics up tomorrow or as soon as I can this week

John.. you should of taken a picture of the front showing the jetta front lip/bumper cause shit looks more bad as. I'm guessing your using this money to supercharge the vette!??
