Is there anyone that can help me replace my waterpump? I've looked at some diy guides and it doesn't look too hard, I just don't have the tools to do it because I'm at school. Or if someone knows anyone that can do it for fairly cheap, I'm a broke college student. Willing to put up some cash/beer!

What all do you need? I guess you can't drive it far so you will be working on it in a parking lot??? I have a trailer we can trailer the car to my garage but that may cost you a little

To do this install you have to pull the timing belt.

Not a hard install but when it's cold outside and a cramp space to work in with just hand tools, I can see some cuss words being said to the car

 

hunters ridge. my car is all fucked up now im pretty sure the head will have to be pulled to put a new gasket in, jesus i hate my car right now, my roommate drove it without my permission and now it looks like there is oil leaking from my valve cover too. what the fuck

 

Ok, so the obvious answer to this one is, make your room mate pay for it...and if he doesn't have the funds, cheap little bastard, make his parents pay. Simple? Yes.

 

Oil leaking from the valve cover is a simple valve cover gasket change.

Blown headgasket equals fluids leaking between the block and head. Most likely white smoke coming out of the exhaust or oil in the antifreeze. Drain your oil and see if it's milky.

Could have your car running in no time but it's to damn cold to be working on it outside. I can tow it to a garage and we can work on it.

But gas + my time = money.
