my car starts but then dies off and when u give it gas at some points it makes a loud backfire at the engine not the muffler and when i took the oil cap off it had smoke coming out not steaming in like cig. smoke coming out and the idle if way fucked up too it bouces up and down idk whats wrong

yea it just got back from the shop someone else did the work i had it for 30 min and shit goes wrong with it i waited a month too

 

take it back, they cant release a car with that type condition. Almost sounds like timing could be off, or a huge vaccum leak.

 

he did replace all the belts it might be it but how does that explain the backfire in the engine and the smoke from the oil cap

 

then cam gears are 180 degrees out if it's a DOHC engine, having bad timing marks could also resort to possible bent valves on interfierence engine. take it back or ask for money back and take it some where else.

nah he replaced the head gasket, all belts, blower, waterpump, spark plugs, dizzy, sparkplug wires, o rings, and lugs
