Default Jeep Lights

Alright so I'm thinking about getting some lights for my wrangler but I'm not really sure which ones to get. I'm thinking about getting a set of fog lights and a set of long range lights. I'm going to mount a pair on the bumper and a pair on the windshield but i dont know where the best place would be to mount the different types. I thought it would be best to mount the fog lights on the bumper and the long range lights on the windshield. However, someone had suggested mounting the fog lights up on the windshield. I always thought that fog lights were supposed to be mounted as low as possible. Something about light refracting? He did have a good point though about mounting them on the windshield. He said it would probably be better because the fog lights have a wider beam and would light up the areas to the side of the jeep better. Any info is appreciated.

id say long range by the windshield, gets em up higher gicing you more visibility and longer ranges for off roading, and the fact tha fog lights are designed to liight areas down low and fairly close to your vehicle, and if the loong range lights are near windshield less likely to get covered by brush, or mud or get ripped off, id rather pay like 30 bucks to repalce fog light then like 90-120 to replacing long range off road lighs depending on brand and style
