Re: LS/VTEC? ?
why dont you just replace the pistons and rings? That would be the cheapest and more reliable way I would think. And save money for a LHT intercooler

Re: LS/VTEC? ?
Ls/vtec can be just as reliable as any gsr, just got to build it right. Cant just slap a vtec head on the stock ls block and think it will hold up forever.

Re: LS/VTEC? ?
The problem is people think they can rev the shit out of it when that's not the case. The stock rods can't handle that.

Re: LS/VTEC? ?
Its all on how you build it, use the right bearings and blue print and balance the bottom end and you can rev higher more reliably. I recommend doing more research.a lot of People on here have a lot of opinions rather than facts. Go to hondaswap.com they have plenty of ls/vtec builds step by step with pictures. It helped me out a lot and of course Honda-tech.com

Re: LS/VTEC? ?
In the end it depends on how well its built. Better parts also equal more money.
Replacing your worn parts proably is going to be cheaper. But its your vision for your car and only you know what you want from it. Do what makes you happy. Gl bro.
