aem puts more then 8 hp to the wheels. More along the lines of 19. Look at the dyno graphs on every car out ther. Its a lot more. I would say go with hondata next. That is a great mod. or do the cams and intake mani and hondata all at once. also the header is a great way to gain hp. I have the jackson racing header and i noticed a difference with that.

I'm new to the board and just picked my type s up 2 weeks ago. I was just wondering if you considered the Injen SRI when you were thinking about purchasing intakes and if you did what made you lean towards the AEM. I really don’t think I want to relocate the water reservoir, I am concerned with voiding my warranty and would like to be able to change back to the stock air box with ease. Was wondering if anyone here has had problems with local Acura dealerships trying to void warranties for modifications. I don’t want to do to much, I want to add an intake, an exhaust from the manifold back, high flow cat and a nice throaty exhaust system and I would like get the ECU flashed by hondata.

Injen SRI sucks. If anything, go with the DC CAI, and or the Injen CAI, neither of those require the moving of the washer bottle. Your intake is NOT going to void your warranty, only thing to worry about with the warranty would be something internally such as cams, valve springs, shit like that.

In your situation look into these:

Injen CAI, DC Sports CAI
Comptech, Borla, Magnaflow. Exhaust systems.

I dont know if you were looking into a header but the best companies for that would most likely be Jackson Racing, and Comptech.

www.clubrsx.com go to the message board and do some research, every answer you would possibly need is there.
