Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could give me a bit of insight on my problem i am having. I have a 1990 Thunderbird SC (eewwww) its my DD and i am experiencing a problem with my E-brake. Whats happening is the Ebrake light is permanently lit and i cannot seem to actually pull the lever up to engage it myself, it just happens to stay all the way down when i let it go. The light is on but when i pull it up it gets brighter. My wheels are not stuck, but when i do drive a bit i can smell a burning coming from the rear of the vehicle. Since then, i have ceased driving the vehicle.

I have tried looking at the t-bird forums but its so hard to register, and SCCOA wants you to pay to become a member, and i don't want that. But anyway if anyone has any POSITVE input that would be greatly appreciated, thank you
