I just bought a 2004 Cavalier and after 3 months of owning it the right low beam headlight will start "blinking" like a turn single. Now this does not happen every time I start the car. I would guess in the last 3 weeks its happened 3 times.

Some times I can hold the bights on for about 30 seconds and it will stop. I am thinking this is just an electrical problem but I am not sure and before I look into further anyone have any ideas what the heck it is?

 

Ground problem or a loose/breaking wire at the bulb connector probably. If it was a headlight switch or relay problem both sides would do the same thing, so it's obviously something specific to that one light.

Change the bulbs one time..they are only $9 at walmart...They blink real fast like turn signals when the bulbs are about to go..just some advice..I own a 2005
