Cool d16 head gasket

Ok i am looking into geting a thicker head gasket and some arp head studs for my boosted single cam. I was just wondering about some things that should change like my compresion and boost capabilities. I curently have a D16y5 with 9.6:1 runing 10psi. What should my compresion drop to with a Cometic head gasket and would it end up being safe for 13-15psi daily? Thanx for looking. Any advice will be greatly apriciated.

What kind of turbo? 10 psi or 15 psi means nothing unless we know what kind of turbo we're talking about here.

The short answer is, if you have a tuner worth his salt, and you don't beat on it everytime you get in it, you should be able to do that.

get a D15B7/D16A6 head gasket. They are the thickest of the D-series motors and they also start compression at around 9.2-9.3:1. That would be the lowest I would go on a d-series to keep the power optimum, or else you'll end up having to up the boost to compensate.

My bad, it would be on a T3 super 60.
